Water Savings Action Plan

The Energy Administration Amendment (Water and Energy Savings) Act 2005 legislates that Blue Mountains City Council must submit a Water Savings Action Plan (WSAP) to the NSW Department of Energy, Utilities and Sustainability. This was done in March 2006. The WSAP provides a strategic approach to work toward reducing Council's consumption of potable water, through improvement at a site specific level and changes to management practices. Work has already begun on implementing the water savings actions.
