YOUTH LAUNCH LIVE MOUNTAIN STORIES
Mountain Stories, the exciting Artstart projects and experiences of local youth, has been launched on-line.
Blue Mountains City Council with funding from the NSW Government through Artstart has recently run Artstart workshops in dance, visual arts, aerosol art, hip hop lyrics writing and music recording and social media.
At 2pm on Tuesday 27 September, www.mountainstories.allaroundyou.com.au was lauched. Visit the website to see the performances, music and video diaries that were made during the Artstart Program for 2011.
The Artstart workshops, for young people living in the Mountains, were held in partnership with the Blue Mountains Women’s Health and Resource Centre, Mountains Youth Services Team, the Aboriginal Culture and Resource Centre and Youth Mental Illness and Substance Abuse Network.
