Blue Mountains City Council added to the International City Climate Catalogue

The city of Copenhagen, host of the UN Climate Change Conference in December 2009, and ICLEI have launched a new virtual tool in the combat against climate change, the City Climate Catalogue. The tool is a catalogue of climate change commitments given by the cities and local governments around the world. It includes GHG reduction goals, as well as policies and methods applied to reach these goals.

This collection of local climate commitments will help build a strong case for local climate action. The aim is to capture and disseminate useful information on as many local targets as possible.
