Towards a more sustainable Blue Mountains

In July 2003 Blue Mountains City Council adopted the community endorsed 25 year Vision for the City of Blue Mountains. The 25 year Vision and Map for Action present a way forward for the City that aligns with the values of Blue Mountains people and an increasing world wide recognition of the need for us to live more sustainably.

Making a difference

We can all contribute to achieving a more sustainable Blue Mountains in our own special way. Observing the results of our actions over time increases our understanding about the state of our City and whether we are making progress in achieving our Vision for a more sustainable Blue Mountains.

Given the richness of our differences, it is valuable to share our ideas and our contributions. This website is offered as a forum for this exchange.
